These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Haumea Yoga website located at haumeayoga.com (the "Site") and any related services, content, products, and offerings (collectively, the "Services") provided by Haumea, LLC ("Haumea," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Accounts. Users must create an account to access certain Services or make purchases. When creating an account, you will be asked to provide your first name, last name, and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
Purchases and payment processing. We offer one-time purchases, 10-pack class passes, and memberships. Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices and availability are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in our discretion, including for suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.
Trials. We offer one free trial class for first-time clients. First-time clients may also purchase a 14-day trial pass. The 14-day trial pass is not eligible for cancellation.
Refunds and credits. Refunds, credits, returns, and cancellations are handled as follows:
Class cancellations. You can cancel up to 15 minutes prior to class starting. If you cancel within the allowed window, the applicable class credit will be returned to your account.
No-shows. If you do not attend a booked class, you will lose the class credit for that reservation.
Late arrival. Clients can join class late at Haumea’s Sun Prairie studio. If attending a Haumea class at Madison Women’s Health, please be aware that doors may be locked after class begins.
Waitlist. If you join the waitlist and are moved to the active class list, you will automatically be charged for class. If you can no longer attend, you can use the standard cancellation process to remove yourself from the class list and receive a class credit (if cancelled within the allowed window).
Studio cancellations. For regular classes at the Haumea Sun Prairie Studio, clients will receive a credit for classes canceled for weather or instructor illness. For series at Madison Women’s Health, a class may be rescheduled to a future date.
Bookings, schedules, instructors, offerings, and locations may change. We may cancel or reschedule classes or events for operational reasons. Any credits, makeups, refunds, or substitutions (if applicable) will be handled according to our posted policies at the time of purchase.
Separate waiver. We use a separate liability waiver that clients sign when creating an account. That waiver is incorporated by reference into these Terms to the extent permitted by law.
Yoga and fitness activities involve inherent risks of injury. By using the Services or participating in any class, event, training, or retreat, you acknowledge and agree that you are voluntarily participating and assume all related risks, including injury, illness, or other adverse effects.
The Services are not medical advice. You should consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have an injury, or have a medical condition. Stop any activity that causes pain, discomfort, dizziness, or distress.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Haumea, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, and agents from claims arising from participation in the Services, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services without a parent or guardian present. Minors may participate in minor-inclusive services (such as Baby + Me Yoga and Storytime Yoga) only when a parent or guardian signs up for the class and remains on premise for the entire time the minor is on premise.
User content. Users do not post reviews, comments, or upload content directly on the Site.
Testimonials. If you provide feedback or a testimonial to Haumea, you give Haumea permission to reuse it for marketing using first names only, unless you request otherwise in writing.
Photos and video. From time to time, we take photos or videos during class to use for promotional purposes. Instructors will generally keep photo participants, especially minors, unrecognizable or ask permission to take photos. If you are uncomfortable with a photo or video being taken, please let the instructor know so you can be excluded from photos.
You agree not to engage in unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, or infringing behavior, and not to interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
The Services and all content provided by Haumea (including text, graphics, logos, videos, class formats, recordings, programs, and downloadable materials) are owned by or licensed to Haumea and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Haumea grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, publicly perform, create derivative works from, or exploit any portion of the Services without our prior written permission.
The Services may include third-party tools, services, or links (for example, payment processors, booking platforms, streaming providers, or social media). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Mandatory arbitration. You and Haumea agree to resolve disputes through mandatory arbitration, except where prohibited by law or where a claim qualifies for small claims court (if applicable under local rules). The arbitration will take place in Dane County, Wisconsin, and the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding, subject to any rights to appeal permitted by applicable law.
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haumea will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Haumea's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Haumea for the Services giving rise to the claim during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Haumea, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, instructors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, or for any reason in our sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
Sections intended to survive termination will survive, including provisions related to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
